Ever been riding in the passenger seat with less-than-stellar driver and realize that you've been pressing your right foot to the floor hard enough that your calf is starting to cramp? It's not a conscious move, your brain just automatically responds to the crap driving and is pressing a ghost brake pedal.

When you first study improv, you consciously challenge your brain to work in a new way, applying the new rules and suggestions, thinking about it as you do it. Keep studying improv, and sooner or later, your subconscious takes over, like the ghost brake.

Except a ghost brake ultimately won't help you avoid a crash.

It was an pleasure to witness the joy and commitment of Matt, Natalie, Sarah and Paul last night. Again, another reassurance as to why we do the work we do. Improv can connect everyone in a room and that ride is indescribable. Excellent work, friends!

This is the fourteenth time I've started this comment. When trying to eliminate mocking Kerstin for the poorly spelled "Micahel," I repeatedly made my own spelling mistakes and accidentally referenced a youtube video involving a goat who was, undeniably, under the age of consent. None of the aforementioned will appear in the classes that I look forward to teaching. Unless, of course, the goat is funny. Or has big tits.
